Tysheira D. Maddox is a licensed Clinical Social Worker, author, certified life coach and Philadelphia native who has received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Eastern University and Master’s in Social Work at Temple University. While having to navigate adulthood with few tools and guidance, but managing to survive, she wanted to share her survival tools with others. Passionate about those who are emerging into adulthood, Tysheira founded Finding My Way Foundation to provide the support and guidance that is needed to navigate adulthood.
When Tysheira is not being of services to others, she enjoys reading, live music, and traveling.
Briana Hayes is an accomplished Executive Assistant and Project Manager from Philadelphia with several years of experience in organizational strategy and development. In 2015, she completed her Associate in Arts in Business and has continually used this valuable knowledge to help businesses grow and thrive. Hayes has played a key role in the strategic development of companies in the wealth management and pharmaceutical industries. On the other hand, when Briana has some free time, she loves to read & spend time with loved ones.
Briana's strong commitment to giving back to her community is the driving force behind taking on this role. She truly believes that young adults deserve access to quality education and her connections and resources can make this happen.
Stewart Wanser is a Philadelphia native born and raised in the Germantown section of the city. Stewart comes from a background of Sport and Leadership, where he has served as a swim coach for local institutions and non-profits. Notably, Stewart coached at his Alma Mater, Arcadia University, for two seasons. Since then, he has transitioned to the Human Resources field, beginning his career for a small for-profit pharmacy. There, he specialized in recruiting and employee relations.
Stewart earned his Master's degree in Sport Psychology at the University of Stirling in Scotland. When he is not being an HR professional, Stewart trains at the gym to become a bodybuilder.
Lynette Flores, was born and raised in Philadelphia and is currently working in the heart of North Philadelphia as a Director of Operations. She is a first-generation college student and a lifelong learner. Lynette holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Arizona Global Campus and is a certified CPR and First Aid instructor. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Public Administration at Southern New Hampshire University.
In 2021, Lynette was awarded as advocate of the year for school-aged children and youth experiencing homelessness and children and youth in foster care. Her goal while in the education field these past 5 years is to make sure our youth and children facing barriers are receiving the proper guidance and support when facing life’s challenges and helping them prepare for self-sufficiency. Lynette is ecstatic to be apart of this astounding non profit organization and believes collaboratively we can inspire our youth to achieve their greatest potential.
Florence Sampson is an innovative financial management professional with over fifteen years of experience in leading finance teams in a variety of business sectors.
Prior to her position as Director of Finance, Florence served at the helm of leadership in roles such as Finance Manager and Fiscal Officer. She is a proven change agent and leader and has provided financial advisory, financial analysis and accounting management to financial restructurings, distressed organizations, and acquisitions.
With a strong knowledge of budget, finance, analytics, grants management and compliance, Florence has been responsible for multi-fund budgets as high as $11.11 million. Florence received a Master of Business Administration from Eastern University and currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership and Development.
Courtney Anika (she/her) desires to use her Divine-given gifts to honor and embrace all of their being and to help others do the same. Courtney is a Black, bi-racial, Queer, woman native to the Bay Area, but is currently residing in Denver, by way of Philadelphia with her cat, Eleanor (Ellie). Recognizing that our collective healing and liberation requires systematic change, Courtney has dedicated her career to faith-based institutions engaging processes and policies that better the experience of and to celebrate the beauty at intersections of Blackness & Queerness.
Courtney is honored to serve as the Finance & Executive Manager at Soul 2 Soul Sisters an organization centering Black women’s healing, health, and joy. Courtney is also thrilled to serve as the Executive Director at Roots of Justice, an organization committed to the liberation of all persons from oppression by providing strategies and tools for educating, organizing, and renewing persons, institutions, and systems. Courtney believes that conversation is the gateway to relational and systemic change and is best done over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
